The east coast of La Digue remains wonderfully wild and largely untouched. A short bicycle ride brings you to the end of the road, where you have to leave your bicycle behind and follow a scenic trail over impressive granite rocks to the secluded Anse Caiman beach. You may also meet our famous tortoise neighbour along the way. Believed to be around 60 years old, she has mastered the art of island living and continues to enjoy life at her own leisurely pace.
